Sept Battle Features!

Not much in this one as it’s a minor release.

You can now end your turn by pressing on an unoccupied tile, and selecting the ‘End Turn’ action item.

Units can run actions from the tile they’re currently stood on, as previously they had to move to a different position to attack again.

The changelog popup as well as action items have been updated to be nicer to use with controllers, the changelog popup now has an exit button prompt.

Cursor heights have also been fixed as they were all over the place previously (the cursor would be really high on some tiles and low on some others!)

There has been an update to enemy logic too, making retreating slightly smarter. If an enemy is of type ‘aggressive’ they will try a last-ditch attack as well.

Art sneak peek

As Project Stormwatch will be showcased at Animangapop (Brighton) this November, I decided to draw the key art in an anime-like style!
I’m excited to colour this in (not too sure of a render style yet!), and get this printed on a nice big poster! 😊
